Children with Special Health Care Needs - Information about the CSHCN Module
The Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Module is a set of survey-based methods and tools designed to identify children with special health care needs and measure the basic aspects of health care quality for this group of children. The CSHCN Module includes a five-question screening tool and a set of questions that focus on topics and services especially relevant for CSHCN. Both of these instruments are designed for easy integration into a general patient experience survey such as the Consumer Assessment of Health Plans Survey (CAHPS®).
